Swingmed Therapy – Dynamic Decompression and Traction of the Spine

SWINGMED® THERAPY – DYNAMIC DECOMPRESSION AND TRACTION OF THE SPINE

The new spinal decompression method, developed at the University of Innsbruck in Austria, represents a truly significant innovation and gives much better results than usual traction methods because it relieves pain in an extremely short period of time, a new treatment option for spinal diseases and back pain!

Indications:

Diskushernia or disk protrusion, disk bulging, sciatica or lumboischialgia and all other indications related to vertebral compression.

With decompression therapy, we achieve negative pressure inside the spinal disc, which results in an osmotic drop in pressure and the flow of nutrients, water and blood into the degenerated disc, so that it heals as soon as possible.

Spine diseases are one of the most common health problems of our civilization. There are few people who have never experienced back pain. This most often happens to middle-aged people, and is related to disc prolapse and degenerative-deforming changes in the spine.

The causes may be different, but it is certain that a sedentary lifestyle has a significant impact. Despite the fact that it is a common health problem, medicine did not have the right answers or good solutions until recently. Treatment was mainly limited to the use of antirheumatic drugs and painkillers, as well as physical therapy, but it is well known that it was not possible to achieve a quick or complete cure.

Because of this, surgical procedures were often used, which are also not a good solution, since permanent consequences always remain after the procedure, and there are risks of the surgery itself.

The concept of treatment with SWINGMED® THERAPY is well known and boils down to stretching the spine and the space between the vertebrae, which frees the nerve root, but the way it is performed is more physiological and more efficient than other methods. So far, clinical experience with 50,000 patients shows that the level of pain decreases by 80% after only five treatments.

Polyclinic K-centar was the first in Croatia to introduce this method, thus completing the program of medical services and treatment methods that it carries out in a complementary manner with the aim of an integrative approach to the problem of bone and joint conditions.
