MBST® THERAPEUTIC MAGNETIC RESONANCE | Regenerative cell therapy

The MBST therapy system, patented in Germany, instead of generating images, uses magnetic resonance technology in therapeutic application, proven to stimulate different regenerative processes in organic tissue, at the molecular level.

Years of interdisciplinary research and development work were necessary to be able to use magnetic spin technology therapeutically. In cooperation with the Institute of Nuclear Physics at the University of Giessen tissue-specific relaxation times were measured. Together with the Laboratory for Medical and Molecular Biology of the FH Aachen, tissue-specific cell parameters were determined.

Based on these results, indication-specific magnetic resonance therapy sequences had been patented in MBST magnetic resonance therapy systems. At the start of treatment, the magnetic spin applicators shall create resonance conditions with the tissue to be treated and thereby may stimulate different processes by transferring energy into specific cell groups.
